The Healing Journey
Let’s heal together
What are the Ceremonies?
With origins and traditions rooted deeply in the history of the Amazon, the Yawanawá’s sacred ceremonies are a powerful link to ancestral wisdom passed down through countless generations.
Kambo is a traditional ceremonial practice involving the secretion of the Giant Monkey Frog. For the Yawanawá and other Amazonian tribes, it is a powerful ritual used for deep physical detoxification, spiritual cleansing, and strengthening the immune system, serving as a vital part of their ancestral medicine.
Ayahuasca is a sacred ceremonial brew that holds deep cultural significance for the Yawanawá and many other indigenous Amazonian tribes. Translating to “vine of the soul” in the Quechua language, it is traditionally used as a tool for profound spiritual and physical healing. The Yawanawá and their ancestors have used Ayahuasca for centuries in ceremonies led by their spiritual leaders, allowing them to connect with the spirit world, gain insight, and heal the mind, body, and spirit. It is a central part of their traditional medicine and a powerful pathway for self-discovery and transformation.
Rapé is a sacred and finely ground ceremonial snuff, traditionally used by indigenous tribes like the Yawanawá for centuries as a powerful tool for purification, spiritual clarity, and to ground the mind and body.
Sananga is a sacred Amazonian eye medicine made from the roots of the Tabernaemontana plant. Used for generations by Indigenous peoples, it is applied as eye drops to clear energetic blockages, sharpen vision, and bring focus to the mind and spirit. On the healing journey, Sananga supports deep cleansing, emotional release, and clarity of intention. Many describe it as a medicine that opens the way, helping one to see both outwardly and inwardly with greater truth and presence.
